Col. William "Bill" Stuessy, Life Member #1256, was one of the first members to step up to the challenge of "Saving the Girls."  In 1999, at Winter Staff Conference, Col. Stuessy made a significant 5-figure pledge and challenged other Colonels to match his gift.  For the next few years, until his untimely death in 2003, Col. Stuessy continued to work diligently to seek support to complete the "Girls'" endowment campaign.  

His jacket is displayed here to acknowledge his passionate philanthropic endeavors, as well as to encourage others to do the same.

Today, you can have a direct impact on the preservation of the world's largest collection of original World War II Nose Art®  ~ you can make a tax-deductible contribution to the "Save the Girls" endowment campaign.

A donation in any amount will help guarantee that these rare works of art will be protected forever, but ~ make a contribution of $750.00 or more to the "Save the Girls" campaign and you will get a limited edition WWII style flight jacket. Your generous gift to a worthy cause will be tax-deductible beyond the cost of the jacket and will be acknowledged in writing for tax purposes.

You may make a donation to the Save the Girls endowment fund in any amount in the first category ($10 to $4,999) online. Or you may make a donation by mail in any amount you wish.

Any donation, made by either method, of $750.00 or greater will get you the flight jacket in either brown or black and one of our Nose Art® Girls of your choice hand painted on the back. On the front our artist will also hand paint our Save the Girls Logo and your name and title if applicable.
